This was the best outing to start off 2022. Beautiful beach ⛱ and weather. The atmosphere of the other beach goers was pleasant and considerate. This was the receipe for a relaxing time spent together by all present. Our group had so much fun together as it was back to work on Monday. Definitely a great place to enjoy time with family and friends. The ???? penguins just added to the outing with Mother nature. Make an effort to enjoy your day at Boulders Beach.

Very nice place with penguins everywhere!

I have the experience to watch them closely for the first time! Had bought so many souvenirs from their shop and shops nearby.

I recommend visiting the place at least once.

Watch out! There could be a runaway under your car!

Definitely the place you want to go to see penguins in their beachside habitat. The park is quite small and takes about an hour to see everything there is to see here. Also… don’t touch the penguins or let your kids touch them. I saw a kid get pecked when a parent let their kid reach past the fence to try to touch on the the birds… be respectful and stay safe.

Out of world experience. Its not everyday you come across place like this. Very calm and beautiful, natural scenic. Only place where you can see penguins. Very well maintained. Beaches are very clean like crystal. Nearly 1.5 hour drive from Capetown and is amongst the must visit places of capetown.

This is such an outstanding place. With penguins up close and beautiful sea views, it's too good. This park is for the preservation of the penguin colony on a small piece of the beach. Entrance for adult SA residents is R42. With that you get to go onto the viewing deck to see the penguins and then enter the beach where the penguins live. It was so beautiful, the penguins even swim by you even though they are not to be interacted with it was still amazing.

Really great setup for visitors to see the penguins without disturbing them. Loved the really cute African penguins. The penguins were super sweet, the staff at the entrance and in the shop etc were the opposite. Disengaged and disinterested. It’s a pity really as that’s what tourists are left with when they visit! A disengaged and really unfriendly group of staff. Would still recommend to go and visit. Just don’t hold your breath if you are wanting a welcoming smile at the entrance.

You've just got to love these penguins! Boulders is a great experience. Well-maintained and neat, as with all national parks there is a very reasonable entrance fee (R53) for locals.
The gift/souvenir shop at the exit is lovely, jam-packed with penguin themed mementos.
