Absolute must for any visitor to Cape Town. All penguin viewing areas are within a national park area, you need to pay to get access. The walkway is a view which is unique to any other beach in the world. You cannot get access to Foxy Beach, but the elevated walkways are designed to hold large groups of people so that the penguins can be viewed by all. A Cape Town classic.

Darling penguins, crystal clear water, weirdly beautiful rock formations, fine white sand. This little place is a treasure. Please respect it and its feathered inhabitants.

Where the penguins are, DONT MISS IT. Seek this place out. Well worth it.
u003d windy there too so plan for that but dont let that deter you. Lots of tourists too. But the deter you either. The penguins are simply fascinating. You can walk from there on a special boardwalk from there to Boulder Beach. I loved it.

Not to be missed if you are going towards Cape Point take a hour and explore this area. Come early in the day to find good parking and to avoid the masses. Keep a eye on the tides and go when it’s low tide so you can explore the beach, sand space gets less the higher the tide meaning less penguins as well.

What a little piece of heaven to see penguins in their natural habitat up close. The organisation running and protecting the penguins ensure their sustainability. It is a pleasure to see them up close and I would encourage people to support the organisations cause.
