Tried the chicken bunny chow.

It was good, better than average, the only issue was that the cuts of chicken meat in the chow had too many bones and very little meat. The chicken meat that they buy are most likely young birds, because the meat had a more than usual chickeny taste.

Also, the bread they used was standard bread, nothing to rave about (just in case you were wondering).

I would go back, but to try the vegetarian bunny chow (Only because the prices are cheap compared to some other Indian takeaway places)

I should have read the reviews first! ... I tried the Cafe Mumbai in Rylands and enjoyed the food. Thought I would get a similar experience here... I was wrong. Curries are completely lacking in flavour, tasted like mildly spiced water. I enjoyed the naans though. Wouldn't recommend, sorry.

I though with some one Indian in the kitchen the flavours would be vibrant. But the korma chicken was a sweet yellow mess. No spice no depth. Definitely a skip for me

If I could give zero stars I would, what an absolute disappointment, I had 1 bite of my chicken korma, could rather have dumped R100 in the trash. The cuts of meat were terrible, it is completely bland and tasteless and the naan was chewy. Will rather pay more at Moksh in future, at least you can taste their food, really upset and disgusted, can't believe we drove all the way for mediocre unedible food.

Me and my husband like to try new things, we spent R90 for one small tub of curry which wasn't good at all and we bought 2, the chicken and chips for my daughter had no taste at all. But thrn you go to mug and bean and pay half price for a more filling meal. So dissapointed

We ordered a yellow dal curry, and tandoori chicken. We were told the order would take 20 mins. 45mins passed and our order still wasn’t done. The kitchen staff were confused, the host kept reading the slips and they worked with no system. The chicken did not taste like tandoori spice but rather some kind of metal! I will not order from these guys again.
