We recently enjoyed a month at Portview House as we found ourselves between homes. What an utterly lovely experience! The staff are sweet, friendly and helpful...the room was also super great: clean, well-equipped, spacious bathroom with a big shower, comfy bed, balcony, mini fridge, extra blankets...we couldn't have wished for more!

As far as accommodations go, it's all right. It's not especially cozy or lively, but it's not uncomfortable and serves its purpose as a place to sleep and have breakfast. It can get pretty cold in the winter, but we were offered a small heater to have in our room during our stay.

It's exactly 3 stars for a 3 star hotel, which isn't standing out on anything. Average rooms, clean, not to too spatious. No airconditioning is a big minus for tourists that are in their beginning of their vacation, not jet acclamatized to the heat. The breakfast is good enough, with uncut fruits as a minus but warm breakfast as a plus. Miriam gave us the tour and is a great addition to this hotel. It is adviced not to visit this hotel when physically unfit to drag one's suitcases on those steep stairs, because there is no elevator and the personell doesn't lift a finger when you drag them yourselves.

It is amazing place, best service, enjoy my birthday so wonderful with the beautiful view. Mostly important best service. Thank you so much ❤️

Very nice, beautiful garden, situated in a good place, shame the walls are so thin you can hear people outside and I'm the other rooms. But I would definitely go back again

Not sure how this place obtained a 3.star rating. Beds not good. Carpets dirty. No secured parking. Rooms not up to standard. TV channels only OVHD.

Cosy room, but the office is unmanned after hours and it can be frustrating waiting for staff to come on duty in the morning if you need to leave early. The pool was also sadly out of order.
