Cape Diem Lodge - Boutique Hotel

We were staying at the Cape Diem Lodge for 10 nights. It’s a sweet little boutique Hotel and we had our room right next to the pool. The pool area is directly next to the breakfast area and that’s why there was not much privacy at all. The quality of the breakfast was good but it was just a small offer of small dishes. The hotel stuff was always very nice! The biggest problem we had was that the rooms had no curtains and the bright lights in the garden were on the whole night. It was very hard to get any sleep and even after complaining, the hotel manager wasn’t able to turn the lights off. Also the rooms have no storage space so we had to live out of our trolley. All in all we had a good time in Cape Town but there is still much improvement for the hotel.

What a lovely place. You can tell by the pictures already how amazing this place is. What you can’t see is the energy there, you’re in the middle of the city and still you feel like out of town.
The owners are incredibly kind and you can tell they love what they do. Same for the staff, all nice and always smiling, very helpful and charming.

Cape Diem hotel is just wonderful. Our stay was unforgettable. The hotel is immaculate, modern and beautiful. All staff are so friendly and courteous, including the wonderful owners Bianca and Daniel who are just so welcoming and accommodating. Such a romatic place, you will not regret it!

One of our best travel experiences! Accommodation looks lovely and hosts Daniel u0026 Bianca (and full staff) do everything to make you feel at home. Breakfast was delicious and pool is great! Would recommend 10/10.

Cozy place, well located in Green point between the beach and mountain, divine breakfast and 5 star service. Only reason I am not giving a five star rating is because of my personal bias such as limited parking and my preference for generous family spaces to accommodate my kids. Oh and there is a famous cat on-site but my wife is allergic. Other than that I would recommend Cape Diem anyway. Vashna and the team were fantastic.

Perfect hideaway and stay in Cape Town. Beautiful house, really friendly stuff and very good located. We felt like home and bianca, daniel and the whole team was super friendly. The breakfast was wonderful too. We definitely recommend this bijou in Cape Town.
