Friendly staff, kind and thoughtful definitely not overbearing! The hotel is well looked after and has everything you could possibly need. We stayed for our honeymoon and the hotel staff made sure we enjoyed every moment we were there.

All the food was lovely too. Their chef was exceptional. There is also a delicious restaurant around the corner called Manos. I highly recommend it.

This hotel is part of a collection of hotels. We joked about coming back to South Africa and staying in each of their hotels... Maybe some day ????

Fantastic hotel with best staff lovely rooms good dining location and service

My wife and I went to Zest for five nights for our anniversary and wish we stayed longer! The stay was absolutely fantastic with staff going above and beyond their duty to make us feel like family. The rooms are very clean and good size and the view from room also fantastic. The breakfast was so delicious and many vegetarian and non-vegetarian options including fresh fruits and yogurt daily- which made my day. The location is really good, very close to Vu0026A waterfront which made it easy for us to go to tourist sites and walk in a safe neighborhood- we loved the neighborhood it is not too loud and same time has good restaurants and shops. Also, the hotel has the best concierge and tours organized, we made full use of it for wineries and peninsula tours which are fairly priced and the driver Ismael was great. The reception staff, breakfast and catering staff, managers, cleaning staff all so polite and accomodating to us- five star for sure. We will definitely come back to the hotel and recommend for all.

The rooms are great but the thing that makes this place special is the service. The staff are unbelievable, they are attentive to every need and really care. I absolutely loved the gin and wine bar. If you go there take a drink up to the roof and lap up the view!

We stayed at this lovely boutique hotel for 4 nights at the beginning of June. Rooms were clean, comfortable and well appointed in contemporary style. Breakfasts (included) were very good with a broad range of foods available. Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure that we had a good experience at the hotel. The hotel was very well located on a quiet side street but only a 10 minute walk from the beautiful Victoria and Alfred Wharf area with a number of good restaurants, also within walking distance. A 4.5 Star rating.

We stayed in Villa Zest for 3 nights in early February 2020 as part of our honeymoon trip. A great location close to the Vu0026A Waterfront. Our room was spacious with a great bathroom and balcony. Staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and breakfast was fantastic. We will definitely stay again on our next trip to Cape Town.

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Zest during the end of December beginning of January . Friedrich and his staff made us feel very at home and comfortable. They helped us making reservations at restaurants and the hop on hop off tours and recommended us all kinds of other things to do around cape town. Genuinely helpful! The rooms are spacious and modern and the location is perfect. 5 min walk to Vu0026A. Free parking in front of the door is available too.

Very friendly staff. Clean. Very small space. The light switches are in off locations, but maybe that's just different for a person from America. Parking is very limited but safe (street parking). TV was difficult to use with limited instructions so we didn't use. The staff were receptive to feedback so let them know that. Breakfast was the best. French toast was so good that I ordered a 2nd order. Great for 1-2 people but would be way too crowded for families with kids (at least in the room we stayed in)
