Shocking customer service. Placed an order from kitchen... Manageress tells us the food will be ready for collection at 4pm. Arrive at 4.10pm only for kitchen to tell me food will be ready at 5.30pm. So now my petrol is wasted and I have a hungry family at home. Manageress then says sorry but there's nothing she can do no she did not know the food won't be ready at 4pm. Seriously?

Great spar! Always great specials and fresh produce. The bakery is above the typical spar and always has a great deal of baked delights on sale. The freshest, made-in-store, pizzas are some of the best in the area and always a winner. With a lovely coffee shop bringing the whole shopping experience to a next level. Spar is in tip top shape always clean and staff are friendly. Probably the only spar that makes use of all their tills as opposed to other spars that have 10 tills and 3 staff. So everything flows in the shop. Will continue to drive out of my way from cape town to stellenbosch(home) to get all I need here. Well done and highly recommended

Be very careful when using a card to pay here. Happened for the second time recently that I paid but had to leave the store without my goods. They say the payment didn't go through but it has already been deducted from my account. Also said it would be automatically be refunded last time and it wasn't. I eventually got a refund by lodging a dispute with my bank but that took time. Last time they depleted my credit card by trying multiple times and I incurred bank charges which were never refunded. Used to be very convenient to shop here but I will be very hesitant to now as I don't carry cash anymore.

Every you want a breakfast, lunch or even dinner go to the Spar BeanTree, absolutely wonderful, bit limited seating, but makes wonders of beacon, chips, egg (anyway you like) and coffee (latte to filtered). The best was the good pricing for the portion and quality.

Cannot believe the price of your products in comparison to other stores in the area. I don’t shop here often and did a quick comparison revealing your store is 35%+ more expensive on average to products I bought today. That’s the last straw, will not be supporting you guys anymore. I am flawed at how expensive you guys are relative to your competitors!

This store always has good specials u0026 the shelves are fully stocked with what you need. The guys at the door are very friendly u0026 make you feel welcome :)
