Cash Converters Cape Gate

Clearing some clutter today and took it to Cash Converters Cape Gate. It was close to closing time, fair enough, but it's no reason to be rude. I had quite a bit of stuff and asked the lady to come and check, my bakkie was parked right in front of their door, but she rudely refused. I had to unload everything, just for them to lowball me on absolutely everything. Some things I was told they will not take as they cannot test it, although they have equipment to test, tbis points to pure laziness. Also, the lady was just rude in general, right down to her tone of voice. Honestly, I would rather take my clutter to the dump next time, much less aggravation... Sales side is stellar though, procurement side can learn from them....

It's a great store and I visit it quite regularly. They have a huge range of items available and buy in new things all the time so there is a constant flow of quality 2nd hand items on the shelf.

Glad they dis a revamp and moved the cluttered racks around. It seems the shop has more glow to it and I am not constantly bumping into people. The store has a lot of juck, perhaps too much of certain items that have been there for years gathering dust. They do however have a great variety and sell at semi decent prices. Overall not bad and will return to inspect te stock whenever I am around.

Previously posted a review about buying an Armani watch from the store which turned out to be fake, the store took it back (without and apology or complaint which was fine). I decided to give the store a second chance. Immediately looked to the watch section and see the watch back up for sale.

The most unhelpful staff i've ever come across. After ten minutes of trying to explain how a DisplayPort works to deaf ears while trying to sell my 4K monitor, I've given up. The staff did not even seem to try and understand. Pathetic. I will sell my goods to individuals on social media that have some sense of understanding. Complete waste of time.

Bought a second hand name brand watch from the store. Turned out to be a fake. To the stores credit, they did allow for the return without complaint.

Still, would not buy something there with the confidence of knowing it was a genuine product.

Your music Dvd's and CD's are way more expensive than other branches. Is there a reason for it?
All your music DVD's are around R59-00 and up while at other branches they are selling for R10 to R20 for exactly the same product.
Can you give me a reason why your DVD's and some CD's are so pricy?
