The vibe was really great. The music was very entertaining and an over all good vibe. The food was good. Extremely expensive though but makes sense considering the location and views. Great for pictures and aesthetics though. It's a very popular spot and great on a hot cool day. Service was okay, not the best as we sat with a dirty table for a long time after we finished our mains and our waiters kept changing throughout.

Quality food, quality service, quality vibes and views. The place is beautiful, the waiters are very professional, the view is amazing. I had the time of my life on a wonderful date there. It is a must visit for anyone in the Western Cape. I'm definitely booking a table again even though some items on the menu are a little bit on the expensive side for the average South African paycheck

Very disappointing experience here. The service was non existent u0026 even the manager was so nonchalant when I mentioned that we were not happy with Henri's service. I guess there's a certain type of arrogance that comes with being highly recommended? Who knows. What I enjoyed was the view towards the ocean u0026 the heaters they had in the enclosed outside area. The drinks were also lovely, which is what I came out for. I tried the Island Style Gu0026T, then the Strawberry Gin Smash u0026 then the Blush drink. The Blush drink was a hit, I ordered it twice u0026 my friend also ordered her own too. The Strawberry u0026 Lime Gu0026T is also good. But for the wow factor, I highly recommend getting the Blush. The food was good, my friend ordered a chicken curry dish which was pleasant, I had side fried which I enjoyed. All in all, an underwhelming evening tainted by the poor service.

This place was amazing, right next to the ocean. Went there for dinner and they had heaters next to each table, inside there was a fire place. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We did not wait long for our drinks and food, the food was amazing, made just as we asked. I hijacked them to ask if they could do a “happy birthday” plate of dessert for my little sister and they did. Our waiter Mr T kept on checking up on us, even managed to get us warm bottled water instead of the cold one they offer on arrival. It is now one of my favourites. Definitely going back for sunset views in summer.

We had a great time.
The service was excellent.
The ocean view was amazing.
The atmosphere was superb.
The food was scrumptious ????
The location is perfect ????
As for the mandatory Parking fee,I think it should be included on your website ,so we know we should carry cash when we plan to visit.
-especially for guests coming for the first time.

Visited The Bungalow while we were visiting Cape Town. It’s a great bar/restaurant closer to Clifton 4 beach. Great ambience, ocean view from the terrace, very friendly service, great range of cocktails and mocktails and great seafood options on the menu. Highly recommend to go for a couple of drinks and/or brunch.

The service was not so great. They took a long time to serve us. My partner complained about the taste of his dessert. I ordered calamari but was served squid instead and the waiter insisted that it was the same thing.
