The entrance to the beach is somewhat hidden. There are lots of steps down to the beach - just take note. As one point you can go left or right, go right :) the beach is clean and pretty. A little small but very lovely. The doggies run free and most people pick up the poop. Go early to get a good parking spot. Will visit again.

Personally I don't find the beach anything out of the ordinary, although clean, it's a small beach, gets crowded easily. The water is obviously very cold and there are quite a bit of steps to climb when you leave the beach, hot and sweaty and still have to climb the steps

A 2 min walk down the stairs and you hit a private little beach that is dog friendly. I will often go early on a Saturday morning with my husky, to enjoy the icy sand and isolation. Would definitely consider this a safe beach!

A clean beach with lovely bathrooms (near the pumphouse). Bring cash if you'd like to rent umbrellas or chairs (R50 each) if you forgot yours like we did. There's always someone selling cool drinks and ice cream for quite cheap. Make sure you leave after sunset, though. The security isn't great then and people get robbed.

This is our favourite beach in Cape Town. The views are incredible, and the wind isn't very strong that side (so you can go to this beach on a windy day and still be ok). It can get a bit crowded during the peak season, especially with all the dogs people bring, but overall, it's our favourite spot to chill and relax. Warning: the water is super cold in the summer time (December to February), only the bravest venture out in those frigid waves.

Stunning beach ⛱ when you get to the bottom of all the steps. Remember what goes down must go up again ????, but you'll have do much fun here. It is also a dog friendly beach.

The beach sand was like icing sugar; very nice on the feet. But, the water was very cold, probably because it had rained earlier in the day. The beach was littered by some unusual plant life, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the water and the beach.
