Small hidden gem that is behind the Lifestyle Shopping Centre. Lots to buy and take home if you are looking for some frozen creatures from the ocean. The staff are amazing and always there to help with a smile. The food! Wow! Absolutely amazing all-round! The fish is flaky with a perfect battered coating and the Chips are just as amazing. Overlooked easily are the sauces and after trying some, you will definitely be taking some home 10/10 for me.

Wonderful place for a very casual fish and chips lunch or supper. Equally good for 'catch of the day' to take home. You take pot luck on availability as all the fish is genuinely caught daily, by local fishermen. The freezers have plenty of fish and imported shellfish, but its not the same as having one of the skillful fish mongers fillet a fresh fish just for you. Prices are very reasonable too.

Shocking food quality today. So sad as this used to be our favourite holiday restaurant. The seafood basket was fried too long and sooooo greasy. Crumbed nearly black. When I complained I got given a dirty look and the server just walked away. The prawns were crumbed with their shells on....like eating plastic.

Quick and efficient service. Great tasting fish and chips at a very reasonable price. Seating available inside and out. Definitely worth a visit. Captains Fine Fish Factory exceeded our expectations. Fresh prawns, mussels, calamari and smoked fish can also be purchased here!

Had a lovely hake and fries for lunch. Really tasty. Service was good. There's a nice selection of seafood on offer.

So, we're holidaying in Ballito when my wife craves fish u0026 chips for dinner. I do the most sensible thing, and call up one of my local friends who suggests Something Fishy...

That suggestion prompted me to Google local establishments, which is where I discover Captain Fine's Fish Factory, and what a fine find Captain Fine's turned out to be!

Not only was the food tasty and fresh and great value for money, but the lady who helped me carry my food to my car after my daughter had fallen asleep in my arms, turned out to be the real hero - unfortunately I neglected to get her name!

Excellent food, exceptional care, thank you Captain Fine's Fish Factory!

I've had a ton of seafood in my time. I've had a lot of good seafood and I've had bad seafood. The only way I can describe every meal I have from Captain fines fish factory is PERFECTION. My family is now addicted. Well done guys, keep up the good work!

By the way, if you're ready to have your mind blown, TRY THE LANGOUSTINES!
