For those of you reminiscing about the no longer available Audacia Manor Boutique Hotel, this is a spot worth considering. Especially for the Shipping industry executives, and others, not wanting to be caught in the bustle of the city, whilst being within ear shot and reach of the Harbour, or perhaps you're here for Florida's night life? The age old St James is small u0026 cozy, catering for both.

Buhle at reception was such a delight! Made the stay even more enjoyable! Rooms were lovely and clean!

Very friendly front desk staff they went overboard to make our stay comfortable. Thank you Thabile. The place is as advertised on the net. I would advise though when booking please do not take room 8 it is by the steps if you are a light sleeper like me you'll be up most of the night the stairs are noisy.

This is the best hotel in Durban, no cap.
The rooms are beautiful, breakfast is delicious- with a variety to choose from, and chefs that are so nice and willing to take any special orders you have.
The two front desk ladies, Thabi and Shirley are the most sweet and lovely ladies I met in Durban.
The housekeeping ladies are also so sweet.
In fact, every staff at the hotel is awesome and I had a lovely and personalised experience here.

I will definitely be staying here when I visit again.
Well done to St James on Venice and its entire staff. Thank you for being awesome.

It has a certain charm about it! Loved it.

Only reason it's not a 5 is the noise by the frogs.

Don't know if there's anything that can be done about the frogs but they're loud at night.
