I actuallyy had a very bad and unpleasant experience with the branch at PE BAYYWESTT MALL. They sold me a 'used lounge suite' and played hide and seek in rectifying the mishap.

Am actually planning to report it to Head Office, and if there's no positive response, escalate it to the relevant consumer protection body.

Avoid !!! Their attitude is an insult to society's dignity!

The 'bean counters' were doing their stock take during normal trading hours. This is possible and even acceptable. But when it creates a thrombosis event for the client whose doing a quick cash purchase? It is totally unacceptable.

The staff were kind u0026 pleasant, if a little slow. Id said I was rushing for an appointment. There was no cash slip, 3 forms had to be handwritten! for this (in this age of technology and when we're supposed to be saving our trees, 3 A4 pages for small purchase? Really?). Sign here, sign there. "Ok let me assist you past security" the lady kindly offered. Just as well. She knew what was coming...

The security man had been made a fool of by instruction of the managers or head office accountants. He was a good enough person and none of his behaviour was his doing as he was just following orders. I apologise sincerely to him if I made this loathsome task of his master's (sic) so embarrassing for him with my impatience. A kind and diligent man, I'm sure. He had another! 3 pages to fill out, staple and sign twice all three pages. Ludicrous! After a 35 min transaction, I threw my copy in the bin within a few metres of leaving as I will NEVER go inside this business again. I WILL relate this story as much as possible to whomever. That such clever accounting minds can be so infantile with no consideration for the people who buy, to generate their very likely high salaries. Of which they are unworthy of due to their maltreatment of people's right to a simple, efficient process of payment.

Not to the staff, (who live in fear of these counters of 1 cent pieces) this is for the originators of this shameful system: I don't envy your families. If you're capable of that at work, what do you get up to at home? Which is hidden from the world's eyes? God knows, God sees. You idolise money, may God judge you harshly for what you do to His children. You are so poor! Poor - in spirit and grace. You're belittling your staff and shan't escape His wrath for all people with such narcissistic tendencies. Child services need investigate how you treat you children, you're obviously just bully's , luxuriating in your idea of power u0026 control of others. Sis. And your poor spouse/s is/are forced to put up with this over-bearing attitude, your rules u0026 manipulation that gives you glee when you demean people? Eeeuwww!

Do your stock take after hours ghouls. That way you can hide your behaviour from public opinion.

PS.Your staff are in need of counselling for the fear you've duressed and intimidated them with. It needs reporting to the Govt. Raspberry!

I would like to give a huge huge thank you to Xolani Ntese at house u0026 home Hemingway’s East London.
From the get go Xolani was so helpful and friendly the whole process, he jumped on board to assist us with choosing the products we needed and kept me informed the whole process of the credit application.

I really look forward to watching Xolani grow working House u0026 Home and dealing with him loads more moving forward.

I trust that he will be acknowledged for what an amazing employee he is and will definitely be referring House u0026 Home and Xolani’s service moving forward.

I cannot wait to pop into House u0026 Home again and receive that friendly, warm, welcoming service.

Absolutely beautiful furniture, but the service and administration of the East London branch is poor. They can definitely do better.

Very unprofessional delivery service. A promise was made that my stuff would be delivered the same day. I rearranged my home in anticipation only to be told 30 mins later than the scheduled delivery time that my stuff wouild be delivered only at half past 11 the next day. What a joke. Shop somewhere else, these guys don't take customer service seriously.

Very bad experience purchased a TV on laybye paid full amount the TVs were not on stock when I went to pick up about a month ago .still have not received the TV I call them my self every week but no contact or explaination from their side

Bad service with their delivery people. Its so annoying because they are lying and not communicating with me
Been waiting for them since 3pm saying they ate coming but ita now 17:16pm. Wasted of my 2 hours.
