Game Baywest in Port Elizabeth needs to close their doors, on Wednesday i saw at least 10 people put down their purchases and walking out before reaching the till points. Do not know if the cashiers were on a go slow strike or what was going on but took me almost 30 minutes to pay for my purchase and there was only 8 people ahead of me. Reaching the till point the cashier first argued with me cause the Polaroid headphones was advertised at R349 in the leaflet and at the till I was charged R449.

Then she argued with me that it wasn't the same headphones and after walking to the section no one was there to help the cashier so I said i would rather leave them than waste another hour sorting out the problem. All the staff seem to be very negative and unhelpful. Then I went to their bottle store to buy a bottle of Klipdrift but there was no stock.

Sorry Game you will never see me again.

On Thursday 2nd of June 2022, I visited Game Baywest in PE to purchase a Samsung A03 cell phone. The salesman, very unprofessional, convinced me to buy the item, failing in his duty to inform me about the terms and conditions with regards to the sale. He only mentioned to me, and I quote:"there's a 2year guarantee on the phone". Not a word was mentioned about the "7 days return", or the "money back" policy, as his only concern was getting the item sold!! Later that day, at home, I noticed that the "settings app" does not function, and the next day, Friday 3rd June, I took the phone back to the store. The very same salesman did something, in a hurry, gave the unit back to me, saying everything is sorted out. I took the unit back to the store the Saturday 4th June, same problem, and after asking for a refund, the so called "supervisor" at the returns counter told me the unit was used and have to be sent to the supplier for further assessment and repairs. I mean, it's a brand new phone!! The supervisor also asked me to take the unit next door to the Vodacom outlet for the assessment, which was not my duty, and of course I refused. I must now wait till Tuesday 7th June to hear the outcome of this whole thing, in the meantime I'm sitting without a cell phone!!! The staff at Game Baywest need to be trained propery regarding after sale service as it does not exist at all. Unprofessional service at its best and I vow to never purchase ANYTHING from that store!!! For all those, reading this and wanting to go to Game Baywest to purchase electronics, or anything, GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

Very large supply of choc eggs at Easter time right up to the weekend thankfully and most recently an emergency trip to get a small tent for camp.

Wanted to buy a 65’ lg uhd smart tv for 10999 and a 55’ Uhd smart tv for 6999. Went in store the sales guy was hesitate to assist and said he cant offer transfer between stores as all good retailers like builders warehouse , Makro and kloppers would assist me with and do. He then asked his manager as I waited long I then left the shop. Went online try to order it with there online portal could not purchase it there. I went to the help function and spoke to someone that informed me that it cant get purchased online. He also added that non of the specials is anywhere available in the eastern cape. Watch out what they advertise as it’s not available if you’d like to purchase .Person can’t get hold of the items you looking for as there is minimal to no assistance.

Game baywest is the worst when it comes to service shame. . . i"ve been seeking help for my Samsung Smart TV which still has warrant but to no help, all i get it cannot be fixed as thy found cockroaches, i was fine with that so i came to collect my TV and take it to a repair center when i get there 1st it took me 2 hours for them to print paper work which i did nt get a sigle page of so i dnt even get the pointy of waiting. now i realised in the box was just my TV and no Power cable n Remote. i"m now trapped with a TV i cant even take to repairs as it has missing parts. . i now need to escalate this coz i want whats mine and ill fix my TV myself. but GAME BAYWEST SEE ME NOMORE

The poorest of service I have seen from a store in my life. All these bad reviews from people dont justify how poor the service actually is. I walk up to customer service with a query, and the supervisor is hanging backwards on her chair while speaking to me. The guy who is actually helping me is speaking to me while he is busy punching on the computer not looking at me, asnwering me with such a slap dash attitude. Between the two of them they cannot find a solution for me, but why would they? Lousy is the company standard for them. People will work the way you allow them to work. The Store Manager allows such disrespectful customer service, but thats because the Area/Regional manager allows such disrespectful customer service. It was so frustrating!!!! I will avoid going in there in the future.

Clean and friendly staff. Improvement needed in the electronics department which is not moving with time.
