Flawless. The food, staff and ambiance at Dolci was amazing. The pizza are fresh with a crispy base and a slight chew in the dough. All desserts were top class. Can highly recommend

Best Italian food I’ve had in South Africa. Ingredients are very fresh and every dish I’ve had is extremely tasty. Some of the best trained waiters I’ve experienced. Really attentive and notice everything.

If you’re looking for great food and great service this is the place to go!

Highly recommend the gnocchi and the margarita. The margarita is amazing as you can tastes the freshness of the ingredients. Food is excellent all round though.

The food was really wonderful and fresh u0026 the the service of the waitstaff was great. What completely ruined my experience and opinion of the restaurant was the head woman chef screaming at her staff, raising her hand threatening to hit young waiters in the middle of the restaurant u0026 demeaning them. Incredibly disgusting behaviour reminiscent of times gone by…she should be taken to the CCMA. It made me wonder if this behaviour (which seems to be recurring based on other reviews) is a reason why the clientele is the least transformed I’ve experienced after living in Johannesburg for 20 years. I will not be returning.

This has truly been the poorest dining experience I’ve ever had to endure. Starting from the manager that was highly uninterested in engaging with us to the servers that did not attend to our table. The trend appeared to be that they were only interested in large expending customers, not knowing that my mother and I were visiting to see whether we’d have liked to book a birthday event there.

I like this place. It has built its reputation throught the years, without losing its homy feeling. Italian tastes real. I think service can be quicker and attentive, but I have not been there enough times to have an accurate opinion.

Food was good despite the order being slightly wrong. Would be a 5 star experience was it not for the service being quite tardy. Perhaps we had an inexperienced waitron.

I ate the Gormet Salmon Avo, it was delicious and would certainly recommend.

Game changing !
Always stressed about finding the best place to eat, scouring the internet and polling friends before you head out? Well, luckily for you.. Dolce Cafe will be the best place to enjoy the proper Italian food. Excellent restaurant. From walking in the door and being greeted by employee, seated and drink order taken, maybe 5 minutes. Amazing bartender Sipho will make phenomenal cocktails for you ????. food done by Italian chef! what brings the best experience of dinning . Flavor will takes you for a journey along the Italy. I can talk for ever about this please))) cozy, friendly, professional, quick service, the atmosphere... delightful and delicious!
Probably more delicious than in Italy itself! place book your table for unforgettable experience. ❤
