This place is amazing!! I paid for a coworker to stay here when passing through Jo-Burg and she loved it. Then, I needed a place for the night so I decided to come here and so glad I did. A little corner of peace and quiet and 5 minutes from the airport. It feels like a vacation spot, not an 'airport hotel.' The low price doesn't seem real considering the high quality of the furnishings (such a comfortable bed!) and the very pleasant staff. I have no negative comments and will definitely be passing the recommendation off to other colleagues.

Perfectly situated hotel, close to Johannesburg airport, to start a South-African journey. Personal pick-up at the airport in the evening. Friendly welcome, possibility to have some "late evening" drinks in the bar. Although we booked 2 bedrooms, we got a "family room" for 4 (2 adults u0026 2 youngsters), but the room was fine, with a double bed and 2 single beds. Clean room. Nice "cold" u0026 "hot" breakfast and discovered during "daylight" the small but nice garden. However it was quite busy in the morning, we could count on a personal shuttle transport back to the airport to pick-up our rental car. Many thanks.

The Sunrock team accommodated me for an afternoon stay prior to a flight from OR Tambo in the evening. Having a few hours to relax, rest and have a shower prior to my long haul flight made all the difference. The property is like a cool oasis in the city. My room was clean, comfortable and private. Thanks to Jackie at reception, who made me feel relaxed and welcome, and my driver (Kelvin) who took me to the airport. Would happily stay here again, and recommend this property to other people. What a gem of a place.

Super cute motel located about 7 minutes from Johannesburg airport. After we turned off the freeway the area was very sketchy but this location is gated. The staff were super nice and dinner and breakfast was great. I only stayed for the night since I was flying out again the next day. I added this to my list though in case I am back to this location in the future.

I don't even remember how many hotels, lodges and guest houses I've been to, in Joburg. Now a place that has won my heart is Sunrock. I feel at home when I stay here. Starts with the efficient transport provide from and to the Airport, when you arrive the attention at the reception, the warmth of the rooms (I've been to 3 different ones) the breakfast and dinner, the gym and of course most importantly, the attention and care of all the staffs and owners make Sunrock a unique place that makes you want to come back. Thank you Sunrock Team for your excellence in the services provided. You are the best ????.

Amazing place to stay before traveling! It located close to the airport, offering free airport shuttle service, and the driver was so friendly and helpful.
The property was safe, and room was nice and clean. I’ll definitely stay there again if I travel from OR Tambo airport.

I stayed here for 2 days after my holiday in Southern Africa and it was a little bubble of paradise. The staff was absolutely the best! Very accommodating and always happy to help. I had 2 massages, which were amazing. The buffet that they offer each night was also delicious! All in all, a perfect experience!
The only thing I didn’t like - I think it’s very passé - are the taxidermy on the walls in the main entertainment room (giraffe, kudu, etc).
