Absolutely disgusted at the “Hawaiian Burger”.
For a 20min wait I thought the food was being cooked fresh, but clearly not.
The bun was so stale it feel apart when I picked it up and burger meat was so dry and hard it felt like rubber. And they still have the cheek to charge R150.
Staff at tills are also very unfriendly

Please avoid Jackson’s at every cost! They conveniently don’t give you a menu so when you get your bill you pay R145 for the smallest chicken wrap (with bones in)! The most expensive wrap I’ve ever ordered most expensive restaurant in a airport I have ever eaten at and I’ve traveled all over the world. I most certainly will never step food in here again.

There were no menus which was very strange. The place felt unkept. It was clean though and the setting is special.

SO BAD!! First of all, seeing as this in an airport, you would think they have fast service as everyone there is about to take a flight with a set time. The service was incredibly slow. A beer took about 20 minutes and the food took about 1hr15 minutes. I had to get in takeaway before even eating it because at that point, my flight started boarding. When I got to eat my food, I was SO disappointed in what I was given. The food was very expensive so I was expecting it to at least be good but it absolutely was a not. I’ve never had such a bad burger! Raw chips as a side and meat that just was not good. The bun was also all soggy. I wasted R200 and an hour and a half of my time as in the end, I wasn’t even able to eat that burger

I arrive at this restaurant followed by about 8 other travellers. Nothing too serious you think? Well, the first thing I hear the waiter say is "Man is there another delayed flight?" Sensing this employee is over his work day I received a frosty reception from the get go, and was not attended to after sitting down and just got stared at by the rest of the waiters. I swiftly left and heard a waiter shout at me and said come back there is no other place open????????!! I managed to get some refreshments from the kindest lady 50m away at Duty Free.

Only place open for beer and due to lack of patrons no beer on tap. But we got beer in bottle.
Friendly staff.
Kitchen was not open until lunchtime.
Hopefully past covid things will improve for them business wise.
They need feet through the doors and buns on the seats.

Great service and delicious food if you have time to spare for a leisurely meal or even only a quick bite or drink before your flight.
