Decent place to take your family, food is great, waiters are welcoming and friendly, plus the manager also greets and checks on you... but be prepared to wait a while for your order, especially on busy days such as Friday nights or weekends.
If your or your partner/kids are hungry I suggest you place your order the first time the waiter greets you. Other than that Spur in Mall of Africa is OK, toilets could be kept in a more decent manner according to me. That's why I give Spur Mall of Africa a 3 star rating.

This is becoming a favorite stop for me when I am I the area.

Typical of a good Spur this spot goes out if it's way to accommodate. We had an impromptu board game day planned with a few people and decided to see if Spur could accommodate. The managers assisted where they could, despite it being an extremely busy time for them. Special thank you to BK and David, the managers on duty 2022/04/27 who assisted. My only complaint would be the staff doesn't seem to be able to keep up on busy days and waiters tend to get small things wrong.

I'll gladly organize our next meeting there again and see if the team improved.

The food was great. I had hake and chips while my partner had chicken schnitzel with creamy mushroom sauce. I found myself taking over his food as it was great too. The service was also excellent.

For years I have been to different Spurs and believe me when I say that the Spur at Mall of Africa was by far the best. Since I walk into the Spur, I saw friendly staff, clean and welcoming environment and excellent ???? service. The food was above what I expected from Spur. The ladies toilet was a big surprise. First Spur where I can honestly say it was clean, smell nice, got everything you need. Really I was blown away at everything. Told myself no Spur will ever see me again, but the Spur at the Mall of Africa got a very satisfied client. Wish al the Spur could follow your example. Even my meat were soft and to perfection. Thanks for a satisfying experience.

Disappointing experience here on friday. Been to many spur restaurants as our kids usually make use of the play areas.

We ordered a few small items as we were limited to only veg options on that day for religious reasons.

We often at eat spur and when we need to stick to veg selection is generally good but this time we felt incredibly short changed, the starter nachos and crumbed mushrooms are our usual go to but the portions here were so small it seemed way overpriced, about half to 2/3 of what you get at other branches.

Kids meal thankfully arrived quickly and was the only saving grace.

I’ve been to this Spur multiple times, the service has always been fine. But last week i went with my boyfriend. A waiter at the door told us to sit down and that we will be attended to, in a few minutes. Thereafter, we waited for over 20 minutes for service and then we decided to leave the restaurant and opted for something else.
