My daughter picked a cube to buy it was marked R39.90. The both shelves for this item was full so I took it as this is the item and did not check the price. Please acknowledge that while reviewing now, there is no one at the tills infront of me. I checked my slip after payment and realized that I was charged R59.90. When I showed the teller and manager on duty, they showed me the item that should have been packed on those shelves instead. No apology or admission of mistake. It was either I take the intended cube at the R39.90 or pay more with no exceptions.
I love Woolworths and Clicks when they make price errors, they believe customers are right and admit their mistakes. I ended up with a extremely disappointed 10yr old and I preferred to take a refund on that item just due to the principle and my poor experience. I must also say that in this same purchase, I bought a keyboard for R799.90. So disappointing ????
