Ideal venue if you don't mind paying the mandatory parking fee for Menlyn mall. Spacious, great views, versatile for an intimate dinner, large groups, formal dinning or casual lunch. Has a bar area, a private section, booths and normal restaurant setup. Menu is a combination of western and South African favorites. Meat, poultry and fish are all well prepared. Service will keep you coming back. Only personal drawback is that it's not kid friendly.

I cannot complain about a single thing.
Let's start at the entrance..
There are 2 - 4 people there to greet and sit you down with a great attitude and a friendly smile.
When seated you are presented with two menus, the food and the drinks one.
There is an upstairs, an inside, an outside and a balcony.
The bathrooms are something else. Clean, massive and easy to find. Well situated too no matter where you sit.
They serve a sort of a unique style of food, the atmosphere itself is very much African inside and so is the food.
They have beers, steaks, potjie, seafood, desserts, etc.
The average prices on the menu for a meal is anything from R 85 - R 130 + depending on what you are getting of course.
Everything on the menu is worth the price, trust you are getting your moneys worth.
Staff are super on it, incredibly fast and crazy friendly. They also take initiative. There's also a manager available everywhere you look.
The kitchen staff are super on it too. They make the most amazing food and output great quality.

This restaurant is absolutely stunning, from the entrance to the sitting areas with beautiful views, and even the bathrooms.
The service was excellent and the food tasty.
Definitely a place worth revisiting.

This restaurant is in Menlyn Mall and the minute you enter you are drawn by the earthy aesthetics and beautiful interior. Unfortunately besides this, the restaurant didn't have much to offer. Firstly we were attended to by approximately 4 waiters and this resulted in so much confusion. People were being given/ sent the wrong orders which looked extremely unprofessional. There was also a shortage of condiments so the sauces had to be passed around from table to table. Another pointer is that the people upstairs -which is where I dined- were not being catered for e.g. no music was being played upstairs . The bathrooms were also such a big problem. For such an elegant restuarant the bathrooms were pretty untidy and it was evident that they didn't conduct any regular checks. With that being said, the food was quite delicious and the portions were big (so it was worth it). The takeaway package(s) are so great and preserve the food well. Generally it's a fair place but there is much room for improvement with regards to service.

A truly unforgettable 5 star experience! From the moment you walk in, to the exceptional food quality and next level customer service! This is officially my new favourite restaurant in Jozi. Definitely a must! Ideal for special occasions and date night! You can't go wrong!

Love everything about this restaurant. The service was excellent, pity i forgot the waitresses's name but she was a sweetheart. Even though she was serving a lot of tables we never felt neglected. The vibe... Omg the vibe.. Wasn't my 1st time there but i had never been there on a Sunday. The plan was to have a meal and leave but we ended up staying for hours.. The foood is soooo amazing (complements to the chef). Pricey but worth every cent.. See you again and again soon. 10/10

Loved the atmosphere.
Had lunch here, waiter was nice and helpful. Food didn't take long to prepare and I appreciate how neat and clean everything was. I had a lemon and herb chicken with prawns and salad on the side... It was mouth watering.
