Invited my dad to lunch and this seemed like a good place to try.

Let's start with the good. The place is nicely decorated and very well situated with a Spar, pharmacy, ATMs, liquor store in close proximity. Staff were friendly. The milkshakes (banana and raspberry) were good. Fries were excellent.

Now the bad: Smoke from the smoking section outside kept on drifting into the non-smokers area. It was unpleasant. We ordered t-bones and besides taking ages to arrive, it was very bland. We asked for mustard and vinegar but the restaurant had run out. The frustrating thing is that Spar is 40 meters away. Go get vinegar and mustard! They're needed at places that serve fries!

The food and experience wasn't worth the money. Dros is about 2km away and Spur perhaps 3km. I'll be taking my dad to lunch there in future. With a little work (and beer on tap!) it could be an excellent venue.

We've been going there fairly often over the years, but the service has been sliding. Last Saturday we took a booth inside and waited for service while the waiters ran around. Other people took the booth next to us sometime after us and they were attended to. Clearly the staff are not aware of what's going on in the restaurant, so we left. You can see there's no management present. Unlikely we'll ever go back.

I',m a regular customer and always enjoy my experience there. Cosy atmosphere, interesting décor, delicious food and quality, friendly service from the staff. Well worth a regular treat! Well done to all!

Over the years it has been a great little local as a coffee and breakfast spot! Today wad no different. Great coffee, good service!

We stopped for a Drink, ordered A Long Island Ice Tea and a Pina colada and it was GREAT!

I really like this cafe, its a nice place to stop after work. They have friendly waiters and the food generally does not take too long.

My husband once ordered chicken, it was very raw, but to my surprise the manager came to us immediately and replaced his meal.

I would still recommend the Corner Cafe, its very relaxing and not too expensive. I love milkshakes and they have very delicious milkshakes.
