I got there at about 2 o'clock. We were told to sit outside (parking lot) while my daughter was being attended to. 6 and a half hours later we left after I told them its ridiculous to wait that long. Suddenly it was decided that she had an anxiety attack and was fine to go home. In that whole time we had no feedback from any of the staff. Every time we asked for feedback it was the generic "we are working on it" answer. Another lady, who came in a hour later than us, were still sitting inside without her vitals even been checked. She passed out twice while she was still sitting outside with the rest of us. She later moved inside. Avoid this place at all costs!

Parking close to the entrance is limited. However there is ample parking across the road and if you are not accompanying a patient it is not bad at all.

The reception area however is always unattended.
I've been there 4 times in the past month and there is no one stationing the reception desk so if you are not sure where the patient is that you are visiting its a little confusing.
The pharmacy service at clicks is veeeeeery poor. At one point I waited close to 50minutes for assistance.

Worst service ever. After being rushed to ER with a serious stroke my dad was admitted to an ordinary ward in a private room. He was admitted during the night. The next day at 14h30, about 16 hours later NO doctor has seen him and he was just lying there. We had him transferred to another hospital where he immediately got better care.

I never received such bad service ever …brought my daughter who was urgently to be attended …..came in at 6:15 at Med24 waited as I got in people where waiting…..and came too people maybe 30 minutes after me which we where still waiting to be assisted and those patience where assisted I actually complained to the nurse told him I was before them still they took them assisted them while my daughter was dehydrated …then around 20:00 I was attended still my daughter was given nothing we where admitted to the ward at 21:00 …..what a poor service from Med24 …I’m asking my self if I’m going to be billed ? Because I think they just wasted my time and I got nothing from them except frustration

Absolutely disappointed !

Just go the extra mile To another Emergency place, was there 4 hours just to hear I must go to specialist, cost me R1500 to hear what the woman at The Sonar office told me in two minutes, I dont think the doctors are bad just over worked, or understaffed running up and down the hole time! If you go here , you will wait a while, just know that !

Xrays where fine, and also sonar staff was very good and helpful, its just that emergency department

I was admitted on Monday for a total hip replacement surgery, the treatment that we got from entering the hospital until I was released was axceptional, from the nursing staff day and night duty I was treated very well the staff knew what to do when it was n very good experience. Dr Sprong and all the theater personnel thanks for a job well done. Management I was in ward one
and you can give the people there a nice pay hike even the kitchen personnel I had no complains about the food. Thanks for a wonderful experience

Worst trauma centre ever! I will not recommend this hospital too any one! We waited 5 hours just to get stitches we eventually left because the One Docter kristen spoke to me if i were a todler we stood up and left. We were assisted immediately at Eugene marais hospital best service and staff I would recommend them all the way!
Montana had enough beds since the trauma unit was revamped with more beds but one lazy doctor. Upon my arrival I was bleeding so bad the nurses did even bother to give me some gass my husband needed too go and fetch me some handtowl paper to stop my bleeding. To think we pay so much for a service but we did not even get a service just rude and educated staff. I think if I went to Steve biko I would have been assisted much quicker. Such a shame this used to be a great hospital! So people if you want service dont ever make use of montana hospital they are rude and not able to assist in a trauma situation. I would have rated a 0 but i cant not post if i dont tick a star.
Can you believe the audacity of montana hospital they did not render me a service since we left, they claimed from my medical aid and said they gave me stitches when the other hospital assisted me.
This Is pathetic they don't give us a service and then they also steal from your medical aid luckily I checked our claims.
Also FYI they charge a R203 ekstra because you did not have an appointment lol who phones a head to make an appointment when you have a trauma situation.
