Enjoyed one of the best ox tail meals accompanied.ied with tasty creamed spinach , butternut and fried cabbage.
Good friendly service. Good wine selection to choose from.

I expected more for the price we paid... My starter: snails in a creamy garlic sauce was very good. But it went down hill from there.

Our cocktails were tasteless. I always order a Mojito everywhere I go, so I've tasted the best and whatever they served me cannot even be called a Mojito. Except for the mint leaves on top there was no mint taste nor the slight rum taste. In fact it tasted like lemon water with a lot of ice.
My girlfriend's Strawberry Daiquiri was a complete let down. It had a watered down strawberry taste with no hint of any alcohol.

The 200g rump steak was tasty, but nothing special. It was medium rare and I ordered rare (very rare). Even with the hot plate the chef should know how well the steak will be done by the time the customer gets it. The veggies were definitely all from cans. The calamari tasted like calamari, there were no lemon, garlic, butter or even a special sauce on the calamari. We made do with dipping the calamari into the watered down BBQ sauce that came with the steak.

The only reason it's getting 3 stars is because the other 8 people at our table said it was a solid 3 star meal and we'll be giving them a skip in the future.

We had such a lovely dinner. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Food was great!! Its a very refreshing feeling to get this kind of service, because these days it feels like just nobody cares anymore.

Lovely Steak and Chips with Garlic Sauce on a Hot Grill Plate. Friendly Good Service , Manager came to check all ok. Well done and Thank you for a Lovely Meal.

Very lovely atmosphere inside the restaurant... outside was quite dull.
If you like your meat medium to medium rare do not use a skillet... it still cooks the meat more on the done side.
The skillet is definitely an experience though.
Mash is delicious
I just miss their old menu items with their biltong and cheese foccacia bread. And their Duck L'orange
Won't argue the fillet was very nice... but not duck L'orange nice
