Went on Valentine's day for dinner with my partner and we were so let down by the service and the food wasn't great either. We walked in and the lady who gave us a table looked unhappy, it wasn't a warm welcome at all. We saw a gentleman and asked to move tables to one of the booths and heard another lady asking "who's gonna serve them if they sit there?"
The gent then took over and started serving us. However it took about 40min from the time we got the menu to the time we were asked what we'd like to drink. He would be gone for very long before returning to our table.
When we finally got the food, we were so hungry that we just dug in even though the food wasn't that great. My partners food was actually better. I had a salad which was a big let down... It was a steak salad, but the meat was so hard, I was never asked how I'd like it done so I guess the chef assumed "hard u0026 was chewy" was the way. The salad was made from wilted inceberg lettuce and baby spinach only, no other form of salad leaves. That wouldn't have been too big of a problem had they been fresh and not wilted. The dressing was tasty but the salad was swimming in it. It's almost like a full cup of dressing was put in the salad and I only saw it as I was eating. I don't even wanna mention the onion rings #sigh. Normally I would have informed the waiter about the food but I was very hungry, I hadn't eating because I was saving my appetite for Valentine's dinner, and it had already taken almost 1h30min to get food. The staff may have been overwhelmed by the V-Day crowd but it's no excuse for bad service. There was no communication about delays and the food wasn't worth the wait... The nice thing was getting a red rose before leaving. But otherwise, it's 1 out of 5 from me and my partner.
