We were looking for a restaurant near to our hotel and found Pigalle. It was a bit difficult to actually access the restaurant as the entrance seems to be on a back street. I believe the owners were doing front of house - they were very friendly and welcoming, as were all of our waiters. The food was delicious with generous portions. They have live music and dance area. They only downside was it was very hot day and the a/c wasn’t working! Everyone was boiling.

Had a really amazing time! The band was awesome and had just enough crowd interaction.

Food was truly amazing, I was however slightly disappointed by the fact that the starters was not the same amount in the plate when it was the same starters...

Other than that it was a completely amazing evening

Elegant and upmarket restaurant situated in De Waterkant offering an extensive dining area, with live entertainment and a dance floor.

The seafood is where their expertise lies, with portion sizes that are generous and well plated. Service is efficient. Prices are above average.

First time at Pigalle's and it was SO lovely. Had a birthday party and the staff was so welcoming! The food was brilliant and looked fantastic. The live entertainment was so nice to be a part of. Never thought of going here but would definitely go again. Highly recommend.

Came out for date night with hubby and as usual the meals never cease to please. Definitely 5 star food but the service by John was absolutely terrible when he disappeared on us for more than 35 minutes leaving us with dirty plates and an untidy table. My husband eventually had to find the manager and place our dessert order. Unfortunately this time delay caused our later plans to fall through

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening, Pigalle exceeded our expectations as we were last here about 15 years ago. The restaurant has grown and improved and is more stylish, elegant and beautifully set out than before. The restaurant has a live band playing jazz style music and there is a dance floor to dance the night away. The food was delicious and hearty portions at an affordable price. We have booked for a second night before we head back to Johannesburg
