Nice quiet place to take a stroll and have a quiet picnic. Visited in the middle of a dry winter and the place looked a but "parched", so I am interested to see what it looks like in Spring and Summer. Entrance is free and parking seems secure in front of the security main gate. Saw a few people fishing and they seemed content. Some more benches and bins would be great. Worth a visit, but manage your expectations.

Very nice little spot to get Away. You have to go into a gated community and then through the entrance gate where you sign in to get there. The gate keepers are not super helpful on a good day but still nice to have security. It is completely free. You are allowed to fish and there are a few decent spots for a picnic.

Very clean and well looked after park. Ideal for the fishing enthusiasts. 6 great fishing spots so you have to be there before 6 to get your spot for the day. Mrd and Uber delivers to the spot as you cannot make a fire to braai there so come prepared.

Sweet flavours work at this spot and the fish are active even on cold days.

Security on site so the park is safe for the whole family even if you just want to come site and look at nature or even picnic with the family.

Amazing place. Really peaceful. Don't go there expecting excitement, but if you need a place to relax and escape - then this is the plac.

Love this amaaaaazing place to go and unwind... Free entrance at this nature reserve where you can go and sit on a bench, overlooking the water, enjoying nature, butterflies and goose water bathing. Wonderful flowers and plant life to enjoy!!

A very pleasant surprise. Never knew this place existed. Saw 40 bird species in about 2 hours. It would be even better if the municipality took more care of it.
