The absolute trip of a lifetime! My 14 year old daughter and myself are still thunderstruck on how amazing our first safari went. Beyond expectations! From the minute we landed in Port Elizabeth, to the return trip back to the airport, I have nothing but the highest praise for this organization. This operation is an extremely well oiled machine. After discussing Huntershill with other clientele (who have more substantial experience with South African outfitters then we do) it leads to even greater appreciation. I am led to believe there a substantial number of “sketchy” South African outfitters. NOT HUNTERSHILL!! My Professional Hunter Gregg B. was amazing! A combination of host, big brother, teacher, therapist, u0026 comedian, hands down a top notched professional. A couple of quick tips: Don’t overpack. Only bring about 2 of everything, laundry gets done every day – whether you want it or not. Use the Professional Hunter’s rifle. It avoids the hassle of traveling with guns, it is dialed in for longer ranges (200 – 500 yards) and has the added benefit of a silencer (making it more comfortable to shoot). My daughter u0026 I will most certainly be returning to Huntershill.

My trip to Huntershill was a complete success. From the pickup at the airport until we left there was not one negative thing to say. The staff was wonderful. My PH (Jason) was great. He was clearly working hard for us to harvest everything that we had planned to hunt. He actually went above and beyond. The accommodations were very nice. The food was great. The whole trip was fantastic and I cannot wait to go back.

I was very pleased with my trip to Huntershills. I went there May 2021. The owner personally greeted me upon arrival. My PH Boyce was a perfect match for me. Boyce never once tried to up sell my package and was extremely accommodating. My trip was a huge success. Safe, friendly, very laid back environment. Plenty of animals in the area. I am definitely going to return.

When I was around 13 years old I had watched Keith warren on YouTube, I had seen that he hunted at this place called huntershill safaris. I had been to africa hunting before and it seemed as if this place was the best place to be in the world. So I contacted Greg and he seemed to be one of the nicest people in the world. 2 years later we had decided to return to africa but this time I would go after a Cape buffalo, along with 9 other plains game. We booked with their U.S agent buck and it was easier than heck.
When we walked into the lodge we were greeted before we hit the door by our PH Brett Stone. Brett seemed like a very nice guy which I will get to later. When we walked in the lodge we were told to treat it like our grandmas house. There was constantly food, treats, and drinks around and in the freezer. Along with the staff around that would talk to you no different than they’d talk to family. They’d talk your ear off if they could. Very very friendly people.
Greg (the owner) is constantly around talking to all the hunters. The hunters will stay in the main lodge for warm breakfast, lunches, and dinner buffet style! You will get along with other hunters staying there and every time you come back they will ask you what you shot that day and how it went. Always story’s around the fire and in the living room. The hospitality of this place will never be beat by any other place around the world for hunting. It’s crazy. Our PH Brett Stone is what amazed me most of this trip. Brett was the most knowledgeable hunter I had ever met, always going over top of getting us trophy animals, like my 42” wide buff he got me! All PH’s there will become your best friend while your there. Unlike other outfitting/ safari companies will have a table for the PH. No, not here... your PH will eat with you, talk to you, joke with you. At night, they don’t go and hangout with the other PHs. They will hang around you, talk with you about the morning hunt, and ask you all about yourself. It’s unbelievable how nice our PH was and our friends PH Riley. The relationships I made with Brett, Greg, the staff (including the awesome too lady’s behind the bar) will hopefully last forever! I will be returning back to huntershill in just over 9 months ????????

Waited 8 years to return to Africa after a terrible experience at another outfitter. Saddens me that I deprived myself of more trips to Huntershill! I have been with them three times now and have booked for this year already and will return every year.

It is a truly magical place that I can just be me. The staff is out of this world. They helped to organize my bow renewal for my wife and my 20 year anniversary. Couldn't have been better!

Even arranged a surprise birthday party for me days later. You will be a friend within a day and family by the time you leave!

Only one problem. All of the PHs are so good, hard to pick just one! Dylan Love has been my PH for all of my hunts. But, have had the pleasure of tagging along and combining hunts with the others. They are all great people! Food and lodging puts it over the top.

I dreamed of hunting Africa for many years, and my safari at Huntershill Safaris did not disappoint.  Quality accommodations, an extremely attentive staff, great food, and a fantastic PH (Francois Roux) made a wonderful experience.

I was able to hunt and take some amazing animals on a wide range of properties.  I look forward to my next visit to Huntershill, which can't come soon enough. The "black death" awaits....

If you have EVER thought about going, now is the time and Huntershill is the place.

We stayed at Huntershill in June of 2019. Our fist time in Africa. Greg and his staff were fantastic. Our PH William was one of a kind. We’re are counting down the days till we go back.
