This place needs a serious intervention to improve customer service. We order the south African farm breakfast and waited almost 40mins while people who came after had received there food before us(they were not that busy it was 11:45 the morning). The waiter seem sluggish and did not want to engage with us. The breakfast was extremely oily, it's as if they drench everything in oil before serving it to us. We barely finish our breakfast and decided to find another restaurant to have breakfast. This was a waste of time and money. The only great thing about the place is the location.

Definitely not a space to have breakfast. They need to improve on service and food.

The food is what I expected from Mugg and Bean. No complaints there. The service was just very slow. And they weren't that busy. Very conveniently situated in the centre of town. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

I have always had a great time here. The meals are good portion sizes and definitely great value for money. The staff is top notch and I would highly recommend this Mugg u0026 Bean.

Always a pleasure to visit Mugg and Bean. Great breakfast this morning and ready for the day, enjoy your cup of coffee. Share with good friends and family and loved ones. You can always be sure that you will receive the best product from the menu.

We regular customers (with our pet) for a few years and today we get told that they not pet friendly ..our pet is our family and after this we would rather take our business somewhere else. Please have signs or proper communication with staff before making statements. To my knowledge the owner always welcomed us with our pet and offered us water ,now management says otherwise.

I agree with some of the other reviews on here, this Mugg u0026 Bean needs an intervention. We had ordered and waited about 40-46mins for a Chick-Mayo and Morrocan Butternut Chickpea Salad. Only at about 30min were we informed that they had "run out of chick mayo if I wanted to order something else or wait 10 more minutes" Little to no communication, my partner asked for a glass of water from a Manager type person and our waiter and when she asked for about the fourth time, the waiter took my glass which was half full to fill hers I presume. Lastly when we made payment I said I will pay R80 for my half of the meal, and then when I got to my car I saw that the waittress took R101 which was what my partner has wanted and did pay. I just really don't know what went wrong and trust me I know you get bad days, but considering their are a few reviews like these - something needs to be done.
