We visited the Sharks Board, they have a very informative video presentation followed by a shark dissection (if they have specimens available). Also a small museum, which is currently being renovated. A curio shop with a variety of items to buy. A nice and educational outing for the whole family!

I had my 21st birthday party here and I am honestly so pleased with how it turned out. The venue was affordable and staff were very helpful. The venue was big and adorable and very clean on arrival. My special night could not have been held at a better venue.

Some displays aren't working properly, broken globes etc.
Also had to asked the staff at reception several times to open de curio shop for us.
Outside areas neglected and untidy.
Is Shark Board on its way out?
No wonder there aren't many visitors!

Great place to learn about sharks , their habitat, behavior etc. The Sharks board has provided years of updated and latest research , videos and photographs of the predator of the sea. Amazing experience. I just feel the curio shop is too pricey if anyone wants to take away a memorable reminder. Also very limited variety of sea creatures toys and memorabilia.

Very very entertaining and informative ... well done Sharks board...
We especially loved the video and the dissection was extremely well presented and humorous the kids really learnt a lot and asked if we can go again next time were in Durban. Keep up the great work we really appreciate all that you do to protect our saftey in the water when we visit your beautiful city on holiday. Just check which days and times the dissection is on before you go and visit the shop they had some really cool things like shark tooth necklaces etc ...
