The quality of this established has dropped substantially. Current waiters are inattentive and clearly not adequately trained. Starters arrived cold. Mains were hot and quality of fish was great but the meal was under seasoned. Managers sit near patrons discussing issue the customers should not hear. They also make no effort to go around the store to check if customers are okay. You could taste that the quality of food products was fresh but the execution was poor and not to the standard that they were before. A change of management would do a lot of good.
I would probably visit here again because of my previous positive experiences but if I received the same service as my last visit I would never visit this branch again.

I've had meals at this Ocean Basket at the Pavillion Mall on numerous occasions. Good consistent freshly prepared food. The tempura fried baby marrow was outstanding. I requested stir fried veg with my meal; everything was really good.

It was was my first time eating at Ocean Basket. Service was good and i really enjoyed my food (i am not a fan of fish) - but my mind may have been changed today :) Had the crusted Kingklip with rice and chips. It was an all round good experience. Kids and family were happy. Not a fan of the tables and chairs thou and was a bit hot sitting upstairs.

Very good ocean basket.
Fresh and tasty food.
Friendly staff.
Overall great place for a bite.
Would receive this anytime.

Food was freshly prepared and good portions. The lemon butter sauce was a bit salty so would recommend the other one.
This is the best ocean basket I have went to.

Fried option arrived cold and soggy. Table was dirty, they don’t wipe it down between people, just change the paper on top. Definitely not one of the better ocean baskets.

10/10 for service, quality of food as well as the time it took for them to serve us. Everything we ordered from the starter to the main, the food was fresh and absolutely delicious. The waiters checked up on us frequently as well as the manager came by to check if everything is in order and that we were satisfied with the food as well as the service. Perfect evening. We will definitely come here again.
